Having one of those crappy days.

Having one of those crappy days.  Woke up with a headache, sort of nauseated, and my face is broken out like I'm back in high school.  Yay hormones?

Heading to work.  Wish me a productive day.

Planning a stop at the post office on my lunch break - TO MAIL MY FIRST ETSY ORDER.  So that's something to look forward to.  🙂

Trying to stay positive over here.  😂

These are some of my larger (18mm) earrings.  Yes, I had Halloween on the brain.  😂😂😂

These change from blue to purple to almost pink - depending on the light. I love how they turned out.

Weird color combo that I couldn't resist.

I did a ring with the brown crackle and gold, and a lot of people seemed intrigued by it. So I thought I'd make some earrings to match.

This is the other polish ring I made the other day.

This is the other polish ring I made the other day.  I used my favorite color - Essie Demure Vixen.  If no one else likes this ring I might keep it for myself.  😂

Two new rings.

Two new rings.  I have also done an ass ton of earrings, but I don't have time to post everything right now.  Maybe tonight or tomorrow.  🙂

I am especially proud of the koi fish.  I painted the colors in with a teensy brush.

I think these are all spoken for, but...

I think these are all spoken for, but if they turn out not to be then they're up for grabs.  🙂

My tracking numbers indicate...

My tracking numbers indicate that I should have a buttload of my jewelry supplies arriving today so to anyone I've promised polish jewelry to - I will get it done this week.  Everything was on backorder, but it still got here a week earlier than I thought it would so that's awesome.  😃

JEWELRY STUFF

JEWELRY STUFF:  I have nothing yet.  🙁  I ordered parts last week, but a lot of the pieces I use are on backorder (supplier sold out because of Mother's Day, she said) so it might be a couple of weeks yet before they come in.  I am SUPER BUMMED about that because I have so many ideas in my brain and a couple of custom orders that I hate making people wait for.  😕

Also, I have tried two different acrylic spray sealers for the plastic rings and even though they should be dry now (I sprayed them days ago and put them in a room with a dehumidifier) I can still dent the clear with my fingernail.  If I can dent it I imagine that they would scratch and scuff and I'm not down with that.  I am considering trying polyurethane spray, but I hate to keep buying sprays that I can't use.  The polyurethane spray I found at Hobby Lobby doesn't say specifically that it's ok for plastics, either, so that makes me a little nervous.  I mean, obviously, I'm not using it on all of the ones I have made - just some of the less fabulous pieces as a test.  I just wish I had a better idea of what to do.  Recommendations are welcome.

Etsy Debut!

I am SO NOT FINISHED adding my stuff, but here is a link to my Etsy shop.  I am going to continue uploading tonight until I'm done, but geez... I am so frazzled / happy / excited / tired.

Y'all let me know if you see anything that needs to be changed.  I don't want to look like a doofus.

Jennifer, check out your purple swirly ring in the light - much better than the crappy photo I took last night!

OPINIONS NEEDED!

OPINIONS NEEDED!

These stones I painted aren't glued in yet so if they are askew - that's why.  It doesn't matter yet.

I wanted to ask you all what you thought of these.  If any of them truly suck I can wipe the stone off and start over.  But once they are glued in, they're in.

My original jewelry didn't have colored images, but I found out last night that I could fill in the lines on some things which looks awesome, but is a LOT more time-consuming.  Most of these I like, but I wanted to know what other people think.

The wings look A LOT BETTER in person.  The are light gray with a dusting of iridescent glitter on them.  They are really nice in the sunlight.

I like the waves and the swirly print below that is really subtle which I don't mind.

Now that I see Oscar with a flash on it looks like I could have done a better job on him.  I was thinking about re-doing Oscar and Cookie Monster, but without the glitter.  I'm not a fan of the glitter.  Opinions on that?

The cats and Rainbow Brite - I'm down with those.

The last 3 - I think they are neat, but I'm not sure if anyone would actually want them.  So if they aren't spectacular enough to buy, let me know.  I am asking so it's ok to say that to me.

Aaand... go!
