P. S. Got some nail mail today. πŸ˜ƒ

P. S.  Got some nail mail today.  πŸ˜ƒ  My first Butter London, called Dosh.  It's green.  They are normally $15, but I am not gonna pay that (unless it blows my mind, which it doesn't quite - I just like it).  I think my new way to buy polish is to shop like hell on Ebay until I find something that's normally expensive for really cheap.  I feel like I'm winning the world when I do that.  Cheating the system.  LOL  I got it for $5.  And also an Urban Decay (my first one of those, too!) for $5.  But it's not here yet.  It's got a cool skully top.  πŸ˜ƒ  Can't wait to have it IN MY HANDS.  😳

Getting ready to head to work.

Getting ready to head to work.

That's great, but I am SO tired. 😳

I stayed up wayyy too late working on jewelry.  The order that came in last night was for a made to order piece (basically, I am re-listing things that have sold, but pushing the ship date out a few days so I have time to make it... providing I have the parts here).  That way if something sells repeatedly - great, and if it only sells once that's no big deal, either.  Once I make a thing, I don't usually want to repeat it unless someone actually wants it.  I have too many ideas floating around my brain to do that right now.

Anyway, I'm just about caught up on bills, so after that I will start using the money I make on buying more parts.  I really want to have bracelets, necklace charms, and hair stuff by OxfordFest.  I'm really hoping that OxfordFest will be crazy good.  I think there will be a lot more people in my target audience there than at the farmer's markets, but that's ok.  Definitely doing the market again Saturday because extra money helps, and I handed out a bunch of little flyers, so I'm getting the word out.  πŸ™‚  I will be under a tent this time instead of an umbrella, though, because I can't afford to waste a whole day being sick again.  LOL

Well, I gotta run.  If you don't see me being very active around here it's because I'm busy making stuff.  Hopefully I can move what I started last night to the next step.  It literally takes days to make one thing, because you have to wait for stuff to dry and all that.  😳

I don't know...

I don't know if it is the Etsy ads or you wonderful people sharing my shop that has caused this, but I have had 2 sales on Etsy in the last few hours. For a grand total of 3, but that's ok. πŸ˜ƒ

I really thought the ads thing was probably crap, but maybe not. How exciting!

Ohmigah.

Ohmigah.  I worked on my Etsy almost all day.  Then I cut some grass, and then worked on Etsy some more.  I had other things I needed to be doing, like housework, or working on jewelry, but I feel better now that this is out of the way.

Almost everything that's up has the polish colors listed.  We shall see if that helps anything.  I also signed up to spend $7 this week to promote search ads or something.  If it doesn't go over well I can stop it.  But if it does, then great.

I've had SO MANY jewelry ideas today.  I need to write them all down so I don't forget.  😳

People, if you know anyone who might be interested, feel free to direct them to my Etsy shop.

Or just to my Facebook page.  It has a shop app right on there where you can buy through Etsy but see if there's anything you like first without leaving Facebook.  Woo.

Now, time to go away from this computer for a while.  ❤

I have so far spent most of my day...

I have so far spent most of my day working on Polish All the Things stuff.  I keep track of everything in a spreadsheet, so I updated that after I got all of my photo posting done on here.  I know I'm a big nerd, but Excel is my favorite program ever and it helps me see what's selling and where it's selling.  Looks like local markets and Facebook are working for me.  Etsy seems to be a bust so far.  πŸ˜•

I have been updating Etsy for the past few hours.  OH SO TEDIOUS.  And I'm not even done!  For the pieces that I can remember I've added the polish names in the titles and descriptions.  When I was looking for a hard to find polish on Google the other day an Etsy listing with that polish used in an earring came up, so I thought "Duh.  I should do that."  For some things that is just not going to happen, but as a general rule I'm going to try to be more diligent about it.

So, I have a list of polishes that I know what they are but not the names, so I'll go and look those up in a bit.  And I still need to add the new rings with the plain bands.  I haven't even gotten there yet!

I am getting antsy from sitting at the computer, which is just as well because I need to cut some grass.  Etsy has been a crazy amount of work today, but I'm hoping it'll pay off.  Aside from sharing it around on Facebook does anyone have any suggestions on how I can advertise without being spammy?  I think I can pay to advertise within Etsy (and I might), but I don't have the money for that right now.  I think that after I get it all updated (either later tonight or tomorrow), I'll create a coupon code and see if that gets anyone's attention.  We shall see.

Later, peeps.  So much to do, so little time!

Last photo of the day!

Last photo of the day, and I saved my coolest new thing for the end. πŸ˜ƒ I love this band because it has two stones. I have them in the brass and silver tone, but this is the only one I've made so far. It's $10 like the 12mm earrings because it takes two stones and the band was a little more expensive. But I think it's super cute!

So I just posted 7 new statuses with jewelry. If you're interested, go and check them out. I think Facebook hides a bunch when you post back to back like that.

Also, please forgive me, but I'm about to post all of these on Polish All the Things, so if you are following that page, you'll probably see them again. I'm sorry. ❤

These are the first stones I ever painted and I finally got them set in a band.  πŸ˜ƒ  FINALLY.  LOL  They have a nice, wide band and are adjustable.

Not a new size or style, but...

Not a new size or style, but here are some 18mm dangles.  Most of these were plain this go round, too.  Sorry some of them are not super creative, but I got my hands on some new polish recently that I just love.  πŸ˜ƒ

Also not a new size or style, but here are more of the 12mm buttons.  Most of them were plain - these colors are really pretty in the sun, so I didn't want to mess with a good thing.

These are also new.

These are also new.  I love the look of the filigree bands, but they are a little harder to get and more expensive, so I decided to also try the 18mm stones in a plain band.  I only have these in the silver tone right now, too, but I am definitely planning to get them in brass before October.  There are 13 photos here, so make sure to scroll through!

Here are some of the things I made.

Here are some of the things I made.  I guess I'll start with the new 12mm adjustable rings - I decided that not everything had to be on those large, expensive, filigree bands.  I only have this size in the silver color right now, but I hope to buy them in brass soon.  Kids seemed to gravitate towards these.  πŸ™‚  Make sure to scroll through - there are 15 photos!  I sold some but can always re-make if I don't have the one you like.  πŸ™‚
