This is where I'll be ALL WEEKEND. If you come to see me and I'm not visible - check under the table. I might be under there napping. 😂 ... but seriously. I've not been able to get through a day without napping on the weekends since I've started my new medicine. I'll be with my mom, brother, and probably Shaun, so at least I won't be alone. 🙂

Ok nerds, (as you are probably the only ones who will feel my excitement), check it out! This is my polish list table.
Ok, so I have column for the polish brand, one for the name, one for the quantity (because there are some that I have duplicates and back-ups of), that little paperclip column holds photos (PHOTOS!!!), the color column is for a brief description of the color, and then my favorite column, the polish type. There are so many different finishes out these days and they all do something different so I figured it would be good to know at a glance that information. See that list of polish types? I made that list and I can add new types as they come out. 😃😃😃
BEST OF ALL - I can sort by any of this information so then I will know what all blues I have, or what all crackles I have, or whatever. Since I keep them all stored by brand, I will always know where to find them. HOW FREAKING EXCITING IS THAT?
So, it's not even done. I have most of my polish brands / names / quantities in, but I haven't even started on color descriptions or photos. I think that can wait. I still need to finish the rest of my other tables and then link them together to actually make a working system, but this is my start. Pretty cool, right? RIGHT?! 😃
Internet - if I'm not around it's because I'm busy being a super nerd. So I have all of my Polish All the Things data in Excel because duh - it had to be in something. But now I've got Access and HOLY WOW - I am having the BEST time trying to get everything set up in that. I want it to run like Peachtree or Quickbooks when I'm done so it's a BIG project. It's gonna take me weeks, if not months, of working on it in my precious little spare time, but that's ok. We haven't even started on Access in school yet, but I got excited and jumped the gun so whatever. 😛
I think that Database Developer or something along those lines is really gonna end up being my calling. I'M GONNA BE ABLE TO MAKE FORMS, Y'ALL. AND REPORTS. AND ORGANIZE MY DATA ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT WAYS. You don't even know how excited that makes me. 😁😁😁 It's pretty much all I've been thinking about the past few days.
Anyway, I'm off to work on it some more. My goal for tonight is to get my Polish Table all finished. Woohoo! ❤
I haven't really had time to make stuff lately, but these are two custom necklaces I made fairly recently. One is from Dr. Who and one is from the Legend of Zelda. Shadow chose an image off of the internet to use on the Zelda one as a gift for a friend. The Dr. Who was a collaborative group effort and I promised the owner of this one that it would be One of a Kind.
If you have photos or graphics that you would want to wear in a necklace, ring, or keychain I am up for doing that. I can't really sell this kind of stuff commercially on my Etsy since it's all copyrighted, but I'll do it for friends. I usually sell necklaces for $20, keychains for $10, and with the rings it depends on the size and setting.
I am not necessarily over here trying to scrounge up business because with school and work I'm busy enough, but if you want something, I'm happy to make it as long as I can have a week or so to work on it. You can ask Shaun - I'm a perfectionist so I will do the same thing over literally 20 times and pick the best one to sell you. (I promise it's not a waste - as long as I don't set the stones I can acetone the images off and use the glass again.)
